Who we are

Founded in 1948, The Norman Company is a third-generation, family-owned business and the oldest Haworth dealership in Arkansas. Our roots trace back to Morris Norman, a WWII veteran who settled in Fort Smith and opened Cook & Norman Typewriter and Office Supply, later renamed The Norman Company.

Over the decades, we’ve evolved with the industry—from office supplies to industrial leasing to becoming the region’s first office furniture dealer in the 1990s. Under the leadership of Howard Norman and now his son Josh Norman, we’ve grown with Northwest Arkansas, expanding into Fayetteville, Bentonville, and enhancing our Fort Smith presence.

Today, we’re a full-service office furnishings dealership serving Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and surrounding areas. With expert consultants and designers at our Bentonville and Fort Smith showrooms, we deliver innovative, client-focused workspace solutions across the region.
